Happy New Year! The word that has been coming in for this year is TRANSFORMATION.
I like to choose a word. Last year’s was certainty – and there was so much that was certain. But this year – the word feels like more of an action word- movement- changing- growing- expanding -loving. But those words aren’t enough. When I think of transformation I think of all those words together.
All I can say is that I’m very excited about 2018. It feels like there will be a lot of new experiences. Things never before seen, done, touched, tasted. Perhaps all 5 senses will get a bit of transformation. Body, soul and spirit will all have some transformation.
The few things I know about my year are already things I have never done before. It feels exciting.
I like what Dr. Joe Dispenza said in his book Becoming Supernatural: ” because if you do something new, you can have a new experience. If you keep doing the same thing, you will keep creating the same experience. And if you do nothing, you get nothing.” Based on that sentence alone is what encouraged me to experience something new, to stretch myself a bit and then new things were created literally within hours.
The only thing we need to do is let it in. There are 3 sentences that play in my head almost on a daily basis.
Expect Change.
Keep Open.
Keep Writing. (My book will be coming out soon – very excited about that)
What’s your word for 2018? I would love to hear.

I feel like I’ve been in that word “transformation” for the last quarter of 2017. But then as you all know, I’m a quick start! I think I will keep that “quick start” for 2018. As you said Ming…it’s a year of movement, change and I’m sooo ready for it. I don’t feel like the same person as I was in 2017. With the sudden passing of my sister in October, everything changed. My mindset, my attitude, my outlook, how I approach life, what I love and what I do. So much growth in a short period of time, but in a good way. Intense, but needed. Thanks for this post today. Helped me to articulate what my heart has been feeling. Happy 2018 Everyone!!! 🙂
Ming Chee says
