Such a great question I received the other day. The full question was: “ I still have a very strong feeling of fear about spending money.
The first thing to address is the fear . Fear can paralyze us. Fear can cause even more anxiety. Trust me I kmow what that feels like. Fear leads to more fear. When those thoughts of fear come in we need to soothe ourselves by saying to ourselves, I’m going to be okay. It’s going to be okay. Sound easy? Sometimes its not that easy to do , but it really does work. We have to move out of a place of fear to a place of peace and relief. That you just know deep down you’re going to be alright. You may not know how, but that is okay. That is how we let in the miracles . That is when the trust comes in.
Spending money on fun things- in your 3D reality it may seem difficult to spend some money on yourself. Yes, I will say when I was going through great contrast I wasn’t getting a medi/pedi or a massage as much as I wanted. But the goal is how do you feel about it. Do some self love and worthiness practices and you never know, you getting that medi/pedi may just give you the inspiration you need, or you’ll meet that particular person that is going to be important in what you are creating. Here’s the KEY thing what are you feeling about it. Now remember money is energy. Money flows in as easily as it flows out. If we hold ON TIGHT to our money, what does money want to do? It wants to bolt. Just like in a any relationship . So be good to your money. Love and appreciate your money and it will love and appreciate you.
It was a process and a lot of practice. But if I can do it, so can you. Stay present, kick the fear to the curb and trust that Money is your friend and will show up for you.

During my “darkest” money-fear days, just hearing Ming say “it’s going to be okay” somehow comforted me in a way nothing else seemed to do. I now say it to myself almost every day, not necessarily about money, but other seemingly stressful situations. I’ve learned the power of those words and find I can now comfort myself in most cases. Abraham-Hicks has a mantra, as well, that I use. It reminds me I don’t have to “do life” alone. It goes like this — “it’s okay, help is on the way.” Fear is tricky; it has a way of sneaking in and subtly controlling us, because it’s all around us in the behavior and actions of others. I am learning just how important it is for me to be rock solid before I enter a building full of people for 9-10 hours a day… as Ming always says “practice, practice, practice.”
