Here we are about to head into 2019! I always choose a word, a phrase or a theme for my year. Then sometimes I forget about it. But it’s like setting an intention and then letting go. Last year’s word was Transformation. Looking back , wow did I get just that. Many things changed within me and lots of evolving and growth. I decided I wanted to have for lack of a better word, something a bit less intense. haha- knowing some of the challenges and new things I’ll be doing next year. So my theme for next year is
LET IT BE EASY. In fact, I’m already invoking that word now in the last days of the year. I lost my way for a minute when a family member got diagnosed with marshmallow. (You have to see this movie, The Healer – they use the word marshmallow instead of the word cancer) I started to focus on all the medical stuff- my left brain and pharmacist started focusing on what the doctors were saying. After getting a swift kick from my friend/coach that told me to tell a new story- I did. I focused on hope, on things going right- and things stared to shift. I realize this is going to be a practice that I will need to get very good at in the coming year.
With that being said, I hope you all take a little time to think about what you want to bring into the new year . What are your hopes, your dreams? What would you like to see manifest in the coming year? Or what would you like to work on. If I can assist you with that I would love to.
Another thing I’ll be doing next year is focusing on the abundance that is literally all around us. Continuing to move from a place of lack to an abundance consciousness. A place where we can all reside and remain. Seeing all the blessings all around us. Which is the focus of my latest book!
I wish you all a wonderful, happy, and abundant year in 2019!

Great reminder Ming! Of course, it’s already my “homework,” but it had slipped my mind to give the year a theme, or phrase.
Knowing what you know about me and my current “challenges,” I may choose to join you in your easy theme!!!
I’ve been saying “easy does it” a lot lately, and “keep it light, and easy Dana,” because I notice that feels a whole lot more self-loving than getting worked up.
Happy 2019 to you, too Ming!!! Love you!

Ming, this is such a perfect practice to bring a close to 2018 and bless it and move into 2019 with intention. Your post helped me condense my mantra/ theme for 2019: “Chill Out and Let it Be Joyfully Easy”
I loved reading your newest book – I will refer to it several times over the next few weeks as I move into the new energy of 2019!

Yay Meg! Glad to hear that – looks like there is a bunch of us that want to just let it be easy next year! Thank you for the kind words on my latest book!

Great post! Usually I do this kind of thing for my birthday gift to myself, but this year I went full-on for the new year. 😊 I came up with 19 intentions for 2019 and a theme for this year—“thrive”. I even bought a bracelet with the word “thrive” inscribed so that it’s a daily reminder as I experience life’s challenges. I’m hoping that approaching everything from a thrive perspective will spill over into all areas of my life in addition to benefiting everyone around me….they don’t even know it yet, so it will be fun to see what happens. 😊 Best wishes to you for 2019!

Thrive! Love that. Ha, you came up with more intentions than I did… awesome work. Here’s to your thriving 2019! Thanks for
stopping by!
